1/8/18 Prayer of My Mother’s, undated With gladness, our Father, we share a part of what we have been graced to receive. Amen
No dated prayer today, but one from my mother is most fitting. It is above 32° my heart is glad. It is sunny, my heart is glad. My son bought a rotisserie chicken at work and I now am enjoying a bowl of soup. I know my cold is waning as food tastes better. All in all reasons to be glad.
Most likely Mom gave this prayer in church as they commenced the offering.
Mom lived in joy, so emphasizing gladness would not have been a stretch for her. Be like Mom…
