3/19 Our Father, we join our prayers in asking Thy help for those in our community who grieve this day. Help each of us to feel the strength and power of Your Grace. Sustain and gently lead the families and friends of Sara, Michelle, Ryan Leigh, Jessica, Andrea and Jackie in these hours of shock and numbness. Help them, help us, to continue our journey on Earth knowing that you have provided a haven where loved ones wait. Amen
Having a year’s worth of cards to base this on, I am very sure that as Dad was deliberate in capitalizing Grace, everywhere, he deliberately spelled the word haven.
The Earth is not a haven, nor is it heaven. But my journey is lightened and put in perspective when I know people and my heavenly Father wait for me.
