7/31 Our Father, we pray again for your blessing on this fellowship – we are grateful for your Grace and guidance. Teach us to look at the things we see in life without bias or prejudice…to accept each other with patience and understanding and in so doing be more worthy of your blessing. Amen
Can’t say as we ever had theological arguments or debates at our house, but if Dad was here today, I would ask about this ending. Can we be “more worthy of God’s blessing” because of our interactions with others?
Dad would always have a cup for coffee set out for me when I would visit. My favorite one if it was clean. He would also have the paper’s front section at my designated seat at the table. He had been up for an hour previous. I appreciated the simple gesture of care. It reminded me of what he’d do for mom, also.
We learn best by seeing things demonstrated.
