Remind us more often

1/20/04 Our heavenly Father, we thank you again for our freedom to Pray – to stand and join together giving thanks for this day and the blessings that are ours. Remind us to give our thanks more often – to remember and pray for those in need of your Grace, support and encouragement. Amen

How quickly my intentions are diverted, quieted, silenced, and starved, for lack of attention. What does it take to remind me? Strings on fingers? Alarm bells? Post it notes?

Often my intentions resurface by the lamest of obtuse connections. I am so glad, as bona-fide reminders don’t seem to work.

Thank you Lord that you use the small inconsequential things in my life to trigger a gentle reminder.

Remind me to Pray for others. (Love Dad’s capital P)
