8/1/06 Our heavenly Father, we thank you for Today and the opportunities it brings us. Help us to overlook our discomfort with the weather and to instead be more understanding and sensitive to the discomforts of others. We pray too for your Grace with Bob and Paul and their return to our fellowship. Amen
When was the last time I asked God for help in overlooking a discomfort? The humility of this request really hit me. Maybe it is a generational thing. I want it removed, not just help in overlooking it.
This explains my father’s demeanor quite succinctly. Hopefully, I inherited that gene.
